Wat Phu Khao Thong

Wat Phu Khao Thong — the Temple of the Golden Mountain — sits on a forested hill in the Mae Nam area of Koh Samui's north coast. The temple complex includes a prominent chedi and Buddha statues set into the hillside, with views over the northern coastline from the upper terrace. Less visited than the Big Buddha and quieter for it. Free to enter; modest dress (covered shoulders and knees) required.
