Wat Namtok Hin Lad

A working forest temple at the foot of Hin Lat Waterfall, just south of Nathon. Park here and follow the stream up past shrines, Buddhist teaching signs and small pools to the falls — a 20 to 30 minute walk each way, steeper near the top. The temple itself is quiet and shaded. Free, though a small donation for the falls upkeep is appreciated. Wear proper shoes; the rocks are slick after rain, and the water's best in the wet season.
