San Chao Jao Eng Sae Mae Nam

A Chinese-Thai ancestral shrine in Mae Nam on Koh Samui's north coast, maintained by the local Chinese-Thai community. This type of shrine (San Chao) is common in Thai coastal towns with Chinese heritage — a small colourful building with incense, offerings and ornamental deities. Free to enter and visit respectfully. Dress modestly and remove shoes at the entrance. A quiet, locally-meaningful stop if you're in the Mae Nam area rather than a major tourist draw.
