The large white and gold seated Buddha commands views over the island on clear days. Access requires a scooter or 4WD vehicle; the road is steep and not suitable for most cars. Dress modestly (covered shoulders and knees). Donations welcome at the temple. Go in the morning for the best visibility and before cloud builds.
