Lipa Noi Beach

A wide, flat west-coast beach known for two things: shallow, bath-warm water that goes out a long way at low tide, and some of the best sunsets on Samui, out over the Gulf toward the mainland. Calm and uncrowded, with a few beach restaurants. Great for families with small kids and for an end-of-day drink. Free and public; the ferry pier at Lipa Noi is close by.
