Bo Phut Beach

The beach fronting Fisherman's Village on the north coast — quieter, with a more grown-up feel and views across to Koh Phangan. The sand is coarser and the water shallow and calm, better for a stroll and a sunset drink than big swims. Come at dusk, then walk into the village for dinner and, on Fridays, the night market. Free and public.
