A local afternoon and evening market in Maenam, running most days from around 3pm. Priced for the local community — grilled skewers, rice dishes, fresh fruit and cooked food from 40–100 THB. Significantly less tourist-facing than Fisherman's Village or the Lamai markets. A good reason to base yourself in Maenam if local atmosphere and low prices are what you're after.
